Our story

Meet the founder

Robert (Rob) Warnell, President and founder of AHS, has spent 20 years helping engineers, contractors and distributors get the right equipment into hydronic, steam and industrial piping systems — and making sure the people who install it understand how it works.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Rob relocated to Las Vegas in 2017. In January 2023 he founded Air & Hydronic Specialties (AHS), a manufacturers’ representative firm serving Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas, and built it on customer education.

Today AHS represents 24 manufacturer lines in HVAC, plumbing and industrial valves for commercial buildings, mining, power generation, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical work — with select stock in Las Vegas and application help that goes beyond a manufacturer redirect.
